WHEN WE ARE NOT MAKING SALSA, WE ARE PROUD TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT AND GIVE BACK TO OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY! SUCH AN HONOR TO BE A PART OF SOME AMAZING EVENTS!

WINDHAM HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS :

2024/2025 :We are a proud sponsor of the Windham Robotics Team!
I have actually been to a robotics competition in the past and the robots these kids build for these events are amazing! Their 'season' is about building a robot that can perform certain tasks and then competing with that robot against other schools and their robots. Throughout their season, they are continually changing and fixing their machines while working as a team to make them as efficient as possible with the ultimate goal to gain the most points for a competition WIN. Lots of skill and communication required for this program! If you haven't been to a Meet, you should go and see what it is all about :) There is no doubt that these teams are making their school proud as they have taken home many different Team awards such as the Judges Award, Design and Innovation Awards ,Energy Award and more. Wishing them lots of luck as they head to States March 1st !

IN BASEBALL : (we don't have the 2024 photo yet)

We are a proud sponsor of our Bonny Eagle Little League for the upcoming season once again! We love being in the stands to watch some games! My kids are older now so this allows me to get back into the game...rooting for all of your kids!! :)

AT OXFORD SPEEDWAY:
Meet Rebecca Huff, originally from Windham! You will find this "Galaxie Girl" at Oxford Plains Speedway on the dragstrip doing her thing. She started with us in the Jr. Dragster class and now, she's moving up ! Once her car is ready, be on the lookout for her driving a car that both GALAXIE SALSA and HUFF FAMILY RACING stand behind. See you at Oxford!

IN BASKETBALL:

Shown in the first photo below are the 2016' Buxton Recreation Grade 2/4 GALAXIE GIRLS Basketball team who were undefeated! (We sponsored the Buxton Recreation team for 8 years! But COVID stood in the way of a couple of our seasons) Not only are these great little basketball players, but they were great sportsman as well. It is so fun to be a part of the basketball program and be able to follow these girls as they move up the ladder! Some of our GALAXIE GIRLS have since graduated High School from Bonny Eagle. CRAZY how time flies! AND, One of the girls in this first photo happens to be 20 years old now and was one of our employees until this year (our daughter Carli) !

AROUND TOWN SIGHTINGS:

(Our products are NOT sponsored by any of the following people; they have simply enjoyed our products with us at events over the years)

BELOW:
Meet Al Liebman from the Frantic Ford Funny Car Team and my amazing husband, Chuck Carman, who is our Fleet Manager :) ! We were lucky enough to meet AL the "ROLLING BONES" Garage Party years back and were invited into be guests as part of the Frantic Ford Team for a season. We supplied salsa for the team to enjoy! Our sticker was on the Frantic Ford car for a season (can you spot it?). Very cool.

BELOW:
Meet Timmy McMaster from Hanford Auto Supply in California, Ken Schmidt from the "Rolling Bones" Hot Rod Club in Saratoga Springs, New York and Al Liebman of Frantic Ford Funny Car. A "Pot Luck" event isn't complete without GALAXIE SALSA so that was our contribution the food table for all to enjoy :)

BELOW:
Meet Doug Kalitta from the Kalitta Racing Team (NHRA) whom we were lucky enough to meet and entertain at their hospitality tent at Epping Speedway during the 2022' season. We brought salsa to the event for the guests to enjoy! A special thanks to Joe and Donna Poulin from Windham Rental, in Windham, Maine for introducing us and bringing us onboard to help with the Hospitality BBQ! What a great time! This has turned into a yearly event so we are looking forward to once again following Doug in 2025! And the yellow hat in the last photo was given to me by Doug himself, a one of of one qualifying hat! Honored to have received this, though I didn't know how cool it was when he gave it to me...now I know!!! And just saying, he's killing it one the race track...you might want to watch!

If you know the guy below, you understand! Very cool!
Chip Foose found GALAXIE SALSA at our friend SHAWN's body shop, HOT ROD CITY, in Dover NH. Chip was in town visiting shops on the East Coast and HOT ROD CITY was on his destination list! He had lunch at the diner next door ( formerly known as "FAR OUT DINER") and got to sample our salsa as it was offered on their lunch menu! Shawn made this photo happen! I can't tell you my excitement when he sent this photo to me on this day!
